Snasslin' for our Buds

Today's meeting of the GooberStanian Snasslin' Association was called to order when I had Stella at an obvious disadvantage.

She pulled out of it, though, and waggled her toes at me. I can't resist going for the toes.

Which leads to my attempt to flip Stella over.

My attempt failed, but at least I got a reaction out of her.

Maybe I got a little more reaction than I wanted.

Today we are generating all kinds of good vibes and goober love to send to directly to Huskee & Hershey's sweet mama Shane and their dad Mark. They grieve over Baby Chloe, who is now with her brother Angel Lucas. Please go by and give them some love if you can.

Goober love,

Puggle Snuggle

Okay, so my weekend plans to frolic in the countryside and swim the days away were thwarted by the ridiculously hot weather, but staying home wasn't a total bust. Here's our new neighbor and buddy, Izzy. She's a puggle pup and she looks like she could be Eduardo's sissy. Isn't she cute?

Normally she sits on her deck and watches us goobs from afar. But she has gotten curious enough to come over for some fence sniffing.

I couldn't let Stella have all the fun, so I came over for a friendly sniff and a complimentary through-the-fence wee for our new little buddy.

She doesn't talk a lot yet, but if you look closely, you can see her sass coming through as she sticks her tongue out at Stella and rocks the saucy little ear flip.

Stella told her all about the G.S.A. (GooberStanian Snasslin' Association). Izzy's curiosity was peaked, but she thought she'd start out by trying a through-the-fence snuggle with Stella. (Stella is convinced she has a new diva disciple. SHEESH!)

She put her head against the fence and said, "bring on the snugglin'!"

She was so energized by her snuggle session that she had herself a refreshing roach in the cool grass.

As a sign of solidarity Stella had herself a nice roach in the grass...

... and obviously hit a good spot!

Today, to honor Izzy's first snuggle, we direct all the good vibes she and Stella generated to all of our sick pals out there, like, Jackson, Randi, and Asta's parents' friend Anna Marie! We're also hoping that JB's dog brother, Bear, makes it home safely soon. We hope you feel the love!

Goober love,
Stanley

News Flash

Randi found out that the tumor she had on her booty is BENIGN!! WooOoHooOOOOo! Here is a video of Stella & I doing the happy dance over Randi's cutie benign booty!

Stinky Snasslers Snasslin' Fiercely

These are the faces of the G.S.A. (GooberStanian Snasslin' Association)!

We've been snasslin' something FIERCE for all our friends who need good vibes with healing and comforting properties.

The fiercer we are, the stronger the vibes we create!

Hey, Eduardo! Just want you to know that Stella is MORE than holding up her end of the snasslin' session.

Of course, I had to interrupt this particular snasslin' session when I smelled an extra funky odor emanating from Stella's legpit. She immediately gave me the Heisman in an attempt to divert my investigation.

In the end I discovered that she had evidently been carrying around a skunk in her legpit! It smelled like he'd been living there for quite some time. I'll have to notify our girl of this amazing discovery. I'm pretty sure she'll appreciate the odor as much as I do.

But for now... it's time to keep SNASSLIN'!

I now declare this meeting of the GooberStanian Snasslin' Association adjourned!

Time for a post-snassle cool down.

Stretching is a very important part of the cool down process.

I'm always in a Zen-like state after a good snassle...

until my goober essence takes over again!

We are still snasslin' this week for our sweet Airebud, Putter. She is back home and feeling a little better, however, her vet still does not know what she's dealing with for sure. Putter, we're still sending you lots of healing goober smooches and Aire-Zen. Enjoy your break from your nanny duties while you rest up, girl! Go by and give her some love if you can.

Goober love,
Stanley & Stella

Snasslin' for Putter

Our good buddy, Putter the Airegirl, is in the hospital and the vet is trying to figure out what is going on. Her mama said Putter is having trouble keeping food down. So, even though it's not our regular day to work for Eduardo, we decided to call a special meeting of the G.S.A. (GooberStanian Snasslin' Association) so we could snassle up some good vibes for sweet Putter (snuggle + wrassle = snassle)! This photo was taken last week before Stella's hairecut...

butt,

... we snassled so hard and so long that all the AireZen it generated is still floating around. We're sending it all to Putter! Get yourself better, gurrrl! Go on over & give her some love if you can!

Goober love & gobs of healing goober smooches,
Stanley & Stella

Working the Angles

Today, instead of working together for Eduardo to generate some good vibes for anyone out there who needs them, we decided to work those vibes from a couple of different angles.

This pupgirl just moved to our neighborhood a few weeks ago. One whole yard separates her from us. Isn't she cute? We think she's a German Shepherd who maybe has a little border collie or something else in her.

We're both pretty keen on getting to know her.

So, I sent Stella over as our GooberStanian envoy to welcome this new pup to the neighborhood.

Stella is excellent as a goodwill ambassador. I can always count on her to do a good job of befriending new pups.

This pupgirl was ready to wrassle, but alas, a chainlink fence prevented Stella from intiating her into the ways of goober wrasslemania.

They had a really good chat, though we don't yet know this pup's name.

She and Stella made plans to meet out by the fence again soon. I'd say that was one very successful goodwill mission.

As for me, I decided to get reacquainted with my mooseman.

I didn't think it was THAT interesting, but my girl evidently did.

I guess I also performed a valuable service by giving my girl something exciting to do with her time.

This week we are working up good vibes for anypup, kitty, hammie or person who needs them, especially Patience and everydog over at the Whippet Waggle as they mourn their patriarch, Giacomino, who went to the Bridge yesterday. Please go by and send them some love if you can.

I'd say that we're keeping some of those vibes here in GooberStan for Stella, but with those that you have already sent us, she doesn't want to hog them. These stitches she has aren't interfering one little bit with her daily life. She's just looking forward to seeing her scar. (Next she'll be talking tattoos. Just you wait.)

Goober love,
Stanley

SPWF & GSA

Hey, goober buds! Here's my hairy Stanley. I caught him giving goober smooches to his flamingo.

But we've got important bizness to do! Hear that, goober boy?

I mean, I gave up what I was doing so we could have our weekly snasslin' session. We're proud member's of Eduardo's Snuggle Puggle Work Force (SPWF).

I hereby call this meeting of the GooberStanian Snasslin' Association (GSA) to order. (It's my turn to be in charge this week.)

OY! Stanley! I need your undivided attention, brother.

That's more like it. Now, how do you want to snassle today?

Nope. Thanks for the squeaky bone, but that is not a bona fide snasslin' tool. Just keep it to yourself, okay?

That's more like it.

You look like you've got an idea brewing. DO tell.

It's okay, Stanley. I won't laugh at you no matter how crazy your idea is.

Alright. Pushing on my belly to get my ears to pop up is not my idea of snasslin', but it'll have to do. At least YOU enjoyed yourself, Stanley. (Sorry Eduardo, I tried.)

Today we're snasslin' for our buddy Jackson, who is feeling a bit under the weather and waiting for test results from his vet. Thanks to all who snassled last week for Hercules. As of last Thursday we had a positive poo report and he's feeling much better!

Goobery love,
Stella Bean Latifah (and Stanley)
