The Sissy Chronicles 6 ~ The Final Chapter

My sissy, Stella, and I finally see snout-to-snout on some things.

We both love my pink flamingo.

We both love to chase around the yard like maniacs.

We both love to wrassle...

... whenever and wherever.

And, we both love Mr. Wintertime bear.

But, one thing that annoys me is that she stalks me wherever I go.

And it appears she is trying to render me beardless.

Sometimes she even uses my head for a scratching post.

Occassionally I have to show her who's boss, applesauce.

See what I mean here? I'm just checking out what is on the floor beside the bed, and she's right beside me asking, "Whatcha doin', Stanley? Huh? Huh? Whatcha doin'?"

She even tries to oversee my covert squirrel patrols.

She's always right in the middle of my bizness!

But at the end of the day, we agree on one very important thing. We are both lovers, not fighters.

Lovin', not fightin',

Stanley

The Sissy Chronicles 5 - The Journey to GooberStan

My sissy, Stella, travelled a loooong way to GooberStan from Florida. On the way she got to hang with some good pups and some good peeps, and my hooman girl found out valuable intelligence about her that she relayed directly to me.

Something very important my girl noticed about Stella is that she is very tongue-oriented. (I too am very tongue-oriented).

Stella also happens to love a certain puggy girl in Florida. (I too love this puggy girl in Florida. She's my love pug).

Stella seems to have had a very strong attraction to Boston Terrier girls with brindle coats. (I too have a very strong attraction to just such a brindle Boston Terrier girl).

Stella loves to hang with hooman pups. This is Suki's sissy, Yesenia. (I too love to hang with hooman pups).

Now that I think about it, this sissy isn't nearly as much of a freak as I thought she was. We actually have a lot in common!

From what I hear, Stella and Suki were tearing up the carpet at Suki's house (figuratively speaking) when she and my girl stopped off to spend the night there. Suki's mama, Katy, was amazingly great to them! They had a luxury suite at Casa de Suki, and got the royal treatment for the entire 16 hours they were there. They even got to go to Suki's fave dogpark!

As great as the visit was, I'm sure that Suki & Joey were ready for Stella to leave when she did.

Suki was a little worn out (so was Stella), and I think that Suki wanted to be the Princess in her own house again (as she deserves to be).

Thank you Katy, Suki, & Joey for hosting my girl and my sissy on their journey back to G-Stan. They had a BLAST!

In case you didn't get enough of Stella on film, here are some more photos from her journey to GooberStan.

One more photo update in the Sissy Chronicles coming, then it's back to my normal routine around here (... yea... RIGHT).

Goober Love,

Stanley (& Stella)

A Break From the Sissy Ordeal

I had to take a break from the Sissy Ordeal (as I've dubbed my situation) to enjoy some pawtying with my buds. Here's a photo of Asta & I before the big Howl-o-ween birthday bash in Salem, Mass achoo sits. I'm the Scarlett Pupernel and she is my lover, Marguerite St. Juste (in case you see me there & don't recognize me).

Ready to pawty! (Am I EVER.)

The Sissy Chronicles 4 - Stella in GooberStan Day 2

Today is Day 2 of the seige I am currently under by this pup who answers to the name of Stella (the idea of her answering to anyone is purely theoretical at this point).

She has been goobering up my bed, my toys, and my yard. My girl asked what I thought. Are you KIDDING ME?

No. Seriously! Are you KIDDING ME?

This girl is not quite what I had in mind when my girl said she had found me a sissy. I was thinking of somepup who would be more... I don't know... like a servant who really really looks up to me, ya know? What I have instead is this...

Did you see the expression on my face? It says it all. Not only do I have to put up with the indignity of playing baby tug, but I also had to put up with a constant stream of badgering from Stella. Basically, I have my own personal live-in stalker.

I am at a little bit of a loss here. I was hoping there had been a mix up and that the sissy pup of my dreams (one who will wrassle anytime I want, who will take the blame for all my naughtiness, and to be at my beck and call) got mixed up with Stella. My girl has assured me that there was no mix up. I wonder what my girl is thinking ~ I thought for sure she was kidding when she said my sissy was going to keep me in line.

Don't get me wrong. Stella's a cutie, and she's got sass. I admire sass... just not quite so much of it, and not in my own living room.

Goober love,

Stanley

The Sissy Chronicles 3 - A Little Teaser

OKAY!! The sissy, who will be referred to from here on out as STELLA, has landed, and the only peace I've had since she got here today has been when my girl took me on a loooooooong walk, and when she put Stella in her kennel for a little time out away from the crowds (Merv & I). Here, by popular demand, is just a little taste of Stella. (You'll have to come back later for the full scoop).

A sweet Stella photo.

A semi sassy Stella photo.

An artsy Stella photo.

The obligatory goober butt shot.

And, the perspective photo. That's me in the background, coming toward Stella (the black & tan dot in the foreground) with an overture of brotherly love & affection. (She is not even 1/10th my body weight).

An outdoor vid.

And an indoor vid.

I'll give you all the scoop on Stella, how she got here, who she visited on the way, and what I think in my next post. I just wanted to get this up so you all can see that she is REAL, and she is HERE. (Oh BOY, is she ever here)!

Double the Goober love,

Stanley (& Stella)

The Sissy Chronicles 2

Today we told Merv that it's a done deal, and that my sissy will be here in one week.

He was not amused.

In fact, he's in a bit of a funk.

I'm not worried, though. I think my sassy new sissy will be able to win him over. Merv is one of those cats who needs a little time to process change. That's all.
Only 7 more days!!
Love,
Stanley

The Sissy Chronicles

I have a new sissy... at least my girl says I do, and she is waiting to come to GooberStan. That's her on the right, playing with her brother. (They're 5 months old and only about 5-6 lbs right now).

That's her again on the right. I've been told she's a tough little chica. She's going to have to be if she thinks she's going to keep me in line.

We haven't named her yet, but are working on a list of names to try out on her when we meet her. We're hoping she'll let us know which one is her actual name.

She's a Lakeland Terrier (like Lacie, Scruffy's little sister). Here she's in squirrel patrol training at her foster home in Florida with her brother. (That's her again on the right). They look pretty intense, huh? It's a good thing she's preparing for squirrel patrol because she's going to have to earn her keep around here.

She is around 10 weeks old, was the only girl in a litter of 5 pups, and the other 3 boys are all black. They were found in a puppy mill that was being run on a pig farm out behind a trailer where her former owner lived. Thankfully, the great people at Florida Terrier Rescue (the rescue group Bussie's mama volunteers for, and the group that is helping Janie find a furrever home) found out about them and got them out of the hole where they were living.

My girl is going to Florida in a little over a week to bring her back, then she will officially be my sissy (though she's already my sissy in my heart).

More scoop will be forthcoming, but for now, I just wanted to share the news! If you want to read more about her and her brothers, you can go to their blog. It's called Double Trouble.

So excited I've got the wiggles,
Stanley

Pee Ess

Big SHOUT OUT to Bussie's mama for paving the way with the rescue group, and for Bussie and Janie for letting my girl drop their names to some key hoomans. Those two are powerful pups in the dog rescue world, let me tell ya!

Wisdom Quest

Yes. I am back. No. I did NOT run away with Asta. She's at home nursing her mommi through DWB withdrawl while they get their pooter situation in order. I'm sorry if I worried any of you. It's just that I had something I had to do. Okay?

Since I know I'm eventually going to be getting a sissy, and since I don't know ANYthing about being an older brother, I thought I'd go on a little wisdom quest ~ you know ~ replenish my AireZen, and seek the advice of some of my favorite sages on how to be a good brother. Since the Dalai Lama was not available, I stopped first to speak with Old Master Li. He lives right outside the gate of my favorite Daoist temple in Beijing. (Forgive the photograph. The guy who took it completely cut me off).

As an added bonus, Old Master Li offered me a little beard growing advice.

Then I was off to visit the big brother of ALL big brothers, my buddy, Wally! We all know he has a high energy and crazy sister in Ethel. Since I have NO IDEA who my sissy is yet, I need to prepare for every eventuality.

Whoa! Until talking to Wally I had no idea how much of a responsibility it is to be a big brother. He had spreadsheets, policy manuals, a special insurance policy, continuing education... you name it, he's got it covered, man! He's a total lifesaver. I feel like I'm more prepared now than ever to get my sissy. I just have to sing his praises. (Just be thankful this is not on video ~ it's a really long song).
Still no word yet on the sissy front. We have inquiries out, and will let you all know as soon as we find anything out. For now I've got to rechannel my AireZen, and here are two of the best positions from which to do that.
Number 1.

Number 2.

In case you were wondering, my hooman girl, while upset, is relieved I'm back and still in one big goober piece. She has led me to believe there will be no lasting fallout from my "failure to communicate" with her. I'm still her favorite goob.

Love,

Stanley

11 Reasons

What could possibly cause me to look as demented as this? (Notice, I've got my magic Wally eyes glowing white hot).

Well, doggies and hammies, that's what I wanted to talk to you about. It seems that the scene of me above is but one of many reasons why my hooman girl has officially started the hunt for my new sissy. That's my news (sorry, nothing scandalous, Scruffy)! My girl thinks I'd not only Iike to have a sissy, but that I need to have a sissy. (And Wally, I'm NOT taking your sissy off your hands. You would miss her too much!)

Here's a little context for the scene you saw above. This is reason # 11, out of 11 reasons, why I need a sissy ~ evidently I crack my girl up when I do this! Incidentally, that's Gertie giving you the booty shot, and inciting my demented behavior. She has graciously agreed to help me demonstrate each reason why my girl thinks I need a sissy. (And, Gertie is not even a possibility since her new family is totally LOVIN' her).

Reason # 10 ~ I like to cuddle with other dogs on a regular basis, and right now I only get to do that if my girl arranges a "play date" for me.

Reason # 9 ~ A sissy would be a good listener if I have secrets to tell when my girl isn't home.

Reason # 8 ~ I get lonely when my girl is gone. Merv my catbro is always here, but he doesn't count since he sleeps like 20 hours a day.

Reason # 7 ~ I have a quota of so many love bites I must give out in a single day, and if I don't, I get constipated (metaphorically speaking).

Reason # 6 ~ My ears are evidently adorable like this and my girl can think of no other way to make this happen on a regular basis.

Reason # 5 ~ I need to impart my wrasslin' moves to somedog else in case I get injured in battle and need another dog to carry on in my name.

Reason # 4 ~ How else will I have a chance to practice my dance moves on a daily basis?

Reason # 3 ~ A sissy could keep me up to date on the state of my dental hygiene and I could do the same for her.

Reason # 2 ~ I would no longer have to sing solo when I listen to "Pure Disco, Volumes 1 & 2."

Reason # 1 ~ The video explains it all. Would you want to deprive a goob like me of this kind of fun?

All I know is that my girl wants to adopt a female from a rescue or shelter situation, and she wants her to be sassy enough to keep me in line (as IF). There are some Wire Foxy girls and some Airegirls that are possibilities, and a couple of you doggies' parents have offered some help finding my sissy. There's no rush. I'll keep you posted.

Goob love,
Brother Stanley
