Cute & Tacky

Our girl is an afficionado of tacky postcards. She can't get enough of them, and the other day she found a flip book of post cards on how to break bad news to someone. It advised if you have to break bad news, it's always better if you do it with a photo of a cute baby animal on the card. Those cards cracked her up so much they inspired us to do a few, Goober Style, to give you an idea of what they were like. If any of these messages could apply to you, then we hope that Stella's cute face will soften the blow.

And of course, this last card is for our lazy hooman girl, who is STILL "working" on our Christmas cards.

Love,
Stanley

Bigger is Sometimes Better

My girl likes to collect tacky postcards, and in honor of that and of the ice cream photo contest sponsored by Airedale Rescue of North Texas, my auntie Darla helped me with this personalized bit of kitsch. (Notice, it says Kansas because we don't have any ice cream stands yet in GooberStan... something I intend to remedy at once!)

I am, however, on a first-name basis with the ice cream truck driver in the country next door.

I've decided I want this as the wallpaper in my living room.

This is my all-time FAVorite one! Giant Stanley attacks giant ice cream cone! (I am to ice cream what Godzilla was to Tokyo). Don't I look like a monsterDALE?? (Click on the photo for an extra dose of scariness).

If you didn't get a chance to submit a photo, you can still participate by voting for the winners. Voting starts tomorrow, so stop by and see some great photos of ice cream... and other dogs eating it!

Love,
Stanley
