Lady Bug - Dancing Queen

I had a blast this weekend with ZZ! We topped all of our round-the-clock playtime with a meeting of the Airedales at my fave pup park. I'm too pooped to write much about it now (and my girl forgot her camera). Mostly, I have been doing a lot of this...

and this...

and this...

while ZZ has been doing this.

There is really only one of my buddies who could motivate me enough to get my dragging puppy butt out of bed, and that's my gal pal, Lady. (Notice the little devil hair horns on top of her head - hehehe).

My nickname for her is Lady BUG because she loves to eat bugs, and she can be a bit of a pest sometimes. That said, she is a very sweet girlie! Her mom always says, "She's not very bright, but she sure is sweet." Let me tell you, folks, Lady has her mom and practically everyone else completely fooled. Everyone around here may think she is a doofy clueless pup, but she only acts that way, she says, so noone will ever expect very much out of her. Actually she is a Roads Scholar (knows every street in town) and can be quite clever IF she wants to.

If Lady comes over it usually means one of two things: she's either a) snooping around my personal life, or b) giving me my dance lesson. I'm absolutely CRAZY about dancing, so of course, the prospect of a little free dance lesson from Lady got me out into the yard.

First, she just HAD to meet ZZ.

Once they established that she's WAY BOSSY, and that he wasn't up for a dance lesson, she and I took a lap around the yard to warm up.

Then she showed me a new warm-up stretch.

Then it was time for my lesson. On today's agenda - breakdancing. (Notice how she plays to the camera just before she goes into her moon walk).

After that, she went all country on me and tried to show me the Booty Scootin' Boogie.

At that point I pretty much lost interest in the lesson and moved on to bigger and better things. She knows I hate country ...

Dancing tall & carrying a big stick,

Love,

Stanley
