Wrasslin' For Mental Health

You might remember my good friend, Gertie. She has been one of my secret weapons in my quest to whip my new sissy, Stella, into shape.

There are 2 very important ways she contributes to my sanity. First, she is more than willing to spend extended periods of time wrasslin' with me. This is a great energy release for me, especially since I'm always being told to "be gentle" when I wrassle with little baby Stella.

The second, and probably most valuable way she helps me is by wearing Stella's butt out!! (This video was shot after they had already been running around this same tree at warp speed for 5 minutes straight).

After running Stella ragged, Gertie employs a campaign of indifference to Stella's pleas to play. (Stella can't STAND to be ignored).

No matter what Stella does or how hard she tries to entice Gertie to play, Gertie is immovable. (The stray beef bone she found in the yard helps her maintain her aire of indifference).

Eventually Stella gives up, and crashes in the house for a good long while.

THANK YOU, Gertie Girl! I am a saner dog because of you!

Goober love,
Stanley

Stan....Does Gertie make house calls. Muzzer could use her when Teka gets on a tear. So could I! You give Gertie an extra wirey hug for me. That is hazardous duty!

Well Stella,it is good to see a little clippage of our training in action. You did miss one thing darling, after you bark and bark in her ear and she turns her head ever so slightly because she thinks she is going deaf...WHAMMO...grab the bone. Try again sweetie, but a valiant effort. Keep practicing!! Love your favorite teacher,Agatha

That Gertie could make a living at helping out with manic puppies. Lucky you have her close enough to take some heat off you once in awhile.

Stanny, That first vid is hysterical. It's looks like they both want to drop by neither is willing to give up first. I also love you with your flamingo. Very nice touch!

I'm working on my mom for NY, but she keeps saying she's like you and sometimes she needs to play with friends her own size, which makes no sense since Asta is no where near her size. We'll see. I think I'd be fabulous strolling through Central Park at Christmas.

Oh, and my snout is your snout, baby.

Hi Stanley!

I think you need to give Gertie a new award..like the good neighbor/mental health social worker award....seems to me you might be instutionalized w/o her help...or you could always have Stella instutionalized...just a thought...

Love the video where Stella stops to bite her tail since its wagging so darn fast! AH HA! sooo cute!

Keep up the good work getting Stella trained...but seems to me you'll have this job for a long long long time!

Love & Licks,
Randi
