Domestic Responsibility

Recently Stella & I have co-opted the guest room to use for our office. My girl has only so much patience, though, and thought it was time we helped clean it up. She wanted us to start by changing the sheets on the bed. We consulted and agreed it was the least we could do.

So we commenced to changing the sheets.

Our methods may be a bit unconventional, but we'll eventually get the job done.

WHAT?! We're not wrasslin'... we're just getting warmed up before getting those clean sheets on the bed.

Like I said... we're on the job!

Love from your domestic goober,

Golly gosh we are impressed! Our domestic skills are nothing like yours, everything we put our paws on seem to end up in a mess!!!!

Keep up the good work but don't overdo it, the hoomans will come to rely on you too much.

I think it's much more fun to play wrestling then doing house chores, right? or me, play usually comes 1st then work 2nd. Haha!

D has asked us on numerous occasions to change the sheets on the bed but nooooooope we're only good at ripping them or turning them from white to brown.

Stanley! I just wander how you ever coped before Stella. I mean, who helped you change sheets? Whose head did you chew on? Who did you wrassle with?

Oooooh, wish we were there!!! We're not allowed on the bed (the only piece of furniture that is off limits to us) -- but we are very very good at helping Mom do other things, like standing on a rug that she is trying to shake, or standing on the couch when she is trying to fix the pillows we've tumbled all over. Helping your girl make the bed with two terriers standing on it is a super super goober accomplishment!!!

Madison helps by dragging all the sheets across the room to the general vicinity of the washing machine. What's a few teeth-holes?

We help too. We stay on the bed, under the covers, as long as we can. Muzzer is trained not to disturb us. So she gets lots of other things done.

My Mom just doesn't get there is a 'process' to go thru to change those pesky sheets!!!

It's totally important to tenderize the mattress before putting the sheets on the bed. Everyone knows that.

Penny, Poppy & Patches said...

We're good at changing sheets too! We change them from whatever color they WERE to red Georgia clay color! We can't figure out why our mom doesn't appreciate our help! You two are doing a pawsome job!

Hi, My name is Tibby! I saw you on DWB and wanted to drop in and say hell0! That was awfully nice of you guys to help change the sheets! It looks like you might have had some fun too!

My mom says you and Stella can come over and help her change the sheets so long as you don't pee pee on the bed like I did.. (Ooops..)..
So what's next after you change the sheets? I hope you 2 get more din din for all your hard work!

Joe Stains said...

you two are so darn cute together. I think you are just testing the bed for quality standards before bothering to put the sheets on. The bed could be defective or not suitable for wrestling, in that case your human must buy you a new one!

We are also INVALUABLE in helping doing this....but what we do is when she throws the sheets on the floor.Archie FLIES over and sits on them, and then sits on them, and won't move...Frankly I don't know how she did this without us..Love A+A

Hi Stan,
You and Stella sure are good helpers! Arrow likes to help with the laundry. And eat it! My mom reads lots of doggie books. When she doesn't have a book she goes to the doggie section of the library. Hope your mom isn't sad from that one if you know what I mean.

p.s. Where can I get a bowl like that for Arrow?
