International Goobs of Giftery

I may have dressed up as and pretended to be an international goob of mystery awhile back (just call me double O Goober), but Stella and I have been international goobs of giftery lately. Just look at what Huskee Boy sent us!!!

Hey! Before your panties get into a wad, you need to know that the real Princess Mooskeeta (aka Moosie) is alive and well at home in Singapaw. While I asked her to mail herself for a visit, she and Huskee thought it might not be all that safe a trip for her. So, Huskee sent us the next best thing... her bootiful glossy photo!

I took a turn posing with the Moosie fan photo...

and Stella had to pose with her too!

If that wasn't cool enough, Moosie sent me my own Mousie that looks like her. Check out her sweet note!

I was very gentle while getting to know my new Moosie Mouse.

That all changed when it came to the packaging. (I love a good piece of cardboard. Mmmm mmm!)

Here I demonstrate how I would gently give Moosie a truckload of goober smooches. (How ELSE would you expect me to welcome her to GooberStan?) Jealous? Come on over to GooberStan for a visit and you'll get some of these smoochieronies. It's practically law here that we greet our friends this way.

Of course, Stella had to get some time in with the MOosie Mouse.

It doesn't end there, though. Huskee Boy also sent Stella a cute squeaky flower to welcome her to GooberStan.

She carries it around with her wherever she goes. (It's her first ever flower).

Of course, I had to test drive it.

Huskee Boy & MOosie, thank you for the FABULOUS prezzies! You are so good to us. But, as much as we like these toys (and the treats you sent), we love YOU even more!!! Thanks for being our friends!

~~~~~~~~~~~~
The international giftery does NOT end there. Our bud, Luckie Girl, sent us some tasty treats, some flavorful stuff for our girl, and the most perfect stuffy-squeaker EVER!
Jealous? If this purple guy wasn't mine, I'd be STINKIN' jealous. But he IS mine, so I'm not.
As soon as I got my paws on him I began the process of slathering him up with my goober slime.
He seemed pretty comfortable with the whole slime slathering process.
We took a break so I could introduce him to Miss Squeaky Flower. He was pleased to make her acquaintance.
Not one to leave anything alone, Stella came by to check out Mr. Fuschia Flamingo.
One sniff was NOT enough for her. She had to gnaw one of his feet off and unravel his leg. Poor Mr. Fuschia.
Shake, shake, shake! Shake, shake, shake! Shake your stuffy!! Shake your stuffy!
Unwilling to relinquish her new-found friend, I had no choice but to rescue Mr. Fuschia from Stella's destructive grasp.
Mr. Fuschia now hangs in solemn salute on the doorknob. He seeks a peaceful respite from Stella's ardent love bites.
Luckie Girl, thank you for Mr. Fuschia! He fits in so well here in GooberStan, and we are going to introduce him to all of our pink flamingo buddies. Your treats and the goodies for my girl are also tasty in the extreme! We love you for being our friend, girlie, and we'll think of you everytime we lay eyes on our Singaporian flamingo!
Luckie Girl, Huskee Boy, and Princess Mooskeeta, you are the most gooberlicious of buddies!
Love,
Stanley
Goober Snow
We had a blast on Christmas! We still had enough snow to roach in, and I for one, did as much snow roachin' as possible with my flamingo buddy.
Stella spent most of her time with her face planted in the snow trying to get her Santa Paws beard just right.
And of course, we wrassled!
We also spent time with our girl, our Aunt Gail, and all the treats and prezzies they were throwing our way. There's more to tell on that front later.
We hope you all had a great Christmas and are even half as thankful as we are to be fed, to be safe, and to be loved.
Love,
Stanley & Stella
Merry Merry Christmas
My Auntie Darla (Gertie's mom) made this original print for my hooman girl for Christmas. That's Stella & me on the left, Merv is the cat in the middle, and Rosie & Bert are the Angel Dales on the right. Obviously, the bespectacled hooman is my girl.
Next to having Rosie & Bert back with us, this is the next best thing. It's my girl's favorite present EVER!
We hope all of our buddies have the best, most gooberlicious Christmas EVER!
Love,
Stanley, Stella, Merv, & Lisa
Happy Herc Day
Today is the second birthday of my buddy, Hercules! Happy birthday, man!!!
He's a good looking guy, whether coming or going!
Hercules is so cool. He's a friend to all pups, big or small.
He is also a worthy ambassador to the hooman pup population.
Because I love him, here's a little ditty for my boy, Herc (to the tune of "Jingle Bells").
Hercules! Hercules! He is two today!!!
He's my bud. I love him so. I wrote this song to say-AY!
Hercules! Hercules! He's the coolest dog!!!
Go right now, and wish him well over at his blog!
Happy Birthday, buddy!
Goober love & birthday smooches,
Stanley (and Stella too)
Merv Leibovitz Strikes Again
Hey, buddies. I'm back. Finally, THEY (you know THEY, don't you? THEY are always saying and doing stuff, and we don't always know whether or not to believe THEM, but we usually do). Anyway, THEY finally got our internet connection back up and kicking. While it was down, my girl had to make a quick trip out of town and took my sissy, Stella, with her. That left me & my cat, Merv, home alone... again. Of course, he got out the camera... and caught me wallowing in my Christmas cards.
I found a major stash of them my girl hadn't opened yet, so I had myself a ball.
Merv's camera angles leave a little something to be desired. He said he took these photos this way intentionally... (He thinks he's so avant garde).
My patience with his instructions was getting low. There were only so many times I could stand to hear Merv say, "Make love to the Christmas cards, Stanley. The camera LOOOOOVES you, man!" Plus, he had "Barry Manilow's Christmas Hits" playing in the background.
I finally snatched the camera from his paws and got off one shot of Merv after he'd had a few bowlfuls of eggnog (my special recipe).
Lovin' my cards,
Stanley
Pooter Problems
Hey, buds. We've been having internet problems for the past several days. Those in the know told us it should be fixed by Monday. We're catching a few blogs here and a few blogs there whenever we can sneak onto a computer at somedog else's house for a few minutes. So far, we haven't been caught yet for breaking and entering.
Just so you know, the ice is almost gone and we're getting the white fluffy stuff. Snow roachin' is the BEST, man.
Here's a big juicy goober smooch to tie you over until we're back.
Goober love,
Stanley
Tails & Titles & Bears, OH MY!
Hey, all friends of GooberStan! In the words of Ricky Ricardo, "We've got some 'splaining to DO!" In just one blog post we will attempt to catch up on many of the posts we said we would post. So, let's start with my favorite.... our tails!
My tail has a slight curviture to the right, whether at play...
... or at rest.
Stella's tail usually stands straight up...
... or straight out. Hers is rarely at rest.
We also visited the peculiar aristocratic title generator, and rather like our names.
My Peculiar Aristocratic Title is:
Reverend Earl Stanley the Feline of Goosnargh Leering
Get your Peculiar Aristocratic Title
My Peculiar Aristocratic Title is:
Her Excellency Stella the Simple of Bumpstead under Carpet
Get your Peculiar Aristocratic Title
I also went to check out which reindeer I am most like. I knew I was a rebel, but c'mon!!
You Are Dasher
You're an independent minded reindeer who never plays by the rules.
Why You're Naughty: That little coup you tried to stage against Santa last year.
Why You're Nice: You secretly give naughty children presents.
Last week our pal Clover (aka GooberClove) gave us the You Make Me Smile Award. We are so stinkin' excited about this award, Clover. And, we want to pass this award on to our newest blogging buddy, Bob T. Bear, esq. If you haven't visited his site you HAVE to. He's a HOOT. We also give this award to our buddy Wally, and to my favorite pupgirls Asta, Ruby, and Suki!
This golden rose award was presented to us by our buds Maggie & Mitch. Asta also gave this award to my sissy, Stella. This is the first award she's gotten all by herself! Thanks you guys! We love you too!
We want to present this award to all the blogging moms & dads out there who let us adopt them and who keep us in warm beds, good food, snackables, and lots of good cuddles and loving scratches! Here's to you!!
ONE MORE THING...
My girl was tagged by Asta's mommi to share 5 things about her so you can all get to know her. I have graciously condescended to allow her blogging space here. If you would like to tune into something more interesting then I'd go to somedog else's blog and skip this part.
~~~~~~~~~~

Hey all! I am honored that Stanley would allow me a chance to use his blog to do this tag. Asta's mommi knows that while I'm not shy, I don't like showing my face on Stanley's blog. So, please forgive me this wacky quirk.

Number one. I used to live in China for a little over 7 years working for a couple of different non-profit organizations. I don't speak Mandarin Chinese like a local, but am pretty fluent.

Number two. Even though I have no hooman kids of my own, I was born with the "baby whisperer" gene. I never asked for it, but babies and little kids seem drawn to me. I was especially good with the morning crowd at the local park in my neighborhood in China. Here's a little photographic proof.

Number 3. I collect tacky postcards. The tackier the better. I am also inordinately fascinated with garden gnomes and possess several books on the subject.

Number 4. I have one of the most explosive belly laughs ever recorded. There may be someone out there with a more explosive one, but I've never heard it.

Number 5. I never liked cats until I met Merv. He charmed me from the start (and I'm not easily charmed). He used to belong to my best friend, but once she saw the love affair Merv and I were having, she told me to take him home. I can't imagine GooberStan without him.

Now, I would like to tag Bogart's mama Lulu, and Scruffy & Lacie's mumsie Marilyn to share a few facts if they're willing.

Lots of lovin' to all you doggies, cats, hammies & bears,
Lisa (for Stanley & Stella)
