Just recently my girl said to me, "I love you, my red-headed goober!" It caught me off guard, you see, because I've always thought of myself as a blonde. (Not that it matters either way.) But for all that it doesn't matter, it's shaken how I think of myself. Do I look like a redhead to you? Am I having less fun than I thought I was?
My girl said that I have very blonde highlights on my snout, but that all of my fur around my nose, my eyes, and on top of my head is red. Merv said it creates an optical illusion of blonde-ness. (He said he can give me an overall blonde look if I want it.)
Not to worry. While I'm NOT having an identity crisis here, I AM having Stella check out the situation.

Aw Goob, Blonds do have loads of fun, but I'm fairly certain that red heads have loads of fun too. And if you stop to think about it for a minute, maybe you are a blond redhead and get to have twice the fun. In fact, you could take to listening only to Blond Redhead - their new album is pretty good. And just so you know, their dog is a Papillon, not at all blond and appears to have loads of fun too.

I'm multi-colored like you. My groomer says I retained my copper around my eyes, my ears and on top of my hair. Everywhere else that is 'tan' is blonde. I think it's just how we Airedales are supposed to be. He he!
