Always In Our Hearts

We are completely BANANAS around here. Most recently, our hooman girl went so totally Bananas over an accomplishment of mine and Stella's. Finally, after months of work, trying various contraptions and leads, and dragging our girl across the ground face first in front of our neighbors, Stella and I are able to walk with each other and stay out of trouble. All it took was for the girl to let us each have our own leash. Go figure. Now, we get to go on a longer hike each day since she doesn't have to walk both of us separately. And, we even seem to be bonding in a new way. (Go ahead, everydoggie. Say, "Awwww.")

Here is a simulation of what we look like from behind while walking together. The neighbors just laugh and shake their heads at our crazy girl, and at our obvious size difference.

We are also bananas over THIS GUY! He's the real thing, except we can't figure how to peel him.

The presence of my crazy eyes in the photo below is testimony to how BANANAS I am about him!

Of course, Stella got in on the action.

I wanted Mr. Banana's head, so I let Stella have his banana butt.

It was only fitting to grant Stella a little face time with the Nanner Man. (Side note: Stella thinks bananas are called nanners. She sometimes won't come when she is called, but if my girl says anything about nanners, she's there in a FLASH! )

Stella thought that if she could catch the nanner from his head, she'd be able to stuff him in her mouth in one fell swoop. That didn't really work out for her.

She actually rode that banana around the house like he was a little horsey.

At the end of the day, though, Nanner Man is MINE! (*Evil Laugh*)

Going Bananas,

Super doofus face with the nanna man. Have you tried giving it a good shake when Stella is clamped on and sending her flying?

Oh, boy, nothing like a big stuffed banana for some fun!

Yeah, we like our own leashes too, but we also have gentle leaders that keep us from pulling too much...

Wow, Stanley...that is one cool nanner! We prefer ours with peanut butter, but he looks like fun too! Love that crazy eyed look! Our pawrents have never tried to walk all 3 of us at once. They seem to think they look better without skinned up knees, elbows and faces!

Stanley, I usually consider myself fairly smart and insanely crazy intelligent even, but I don't get the leash thing. Was your mom trying to walk you and Stella on one leash before? How did she do that? Your necks must have been jammed together really oddly if she was trying to hook you up to one leash. No wonder you two were not so well behaved. I think that clearly, now is the time for both of you to learn French and come live in MOntreal with me.

Lovin' how Stella gets height on the sofa so she can play with you! I'm not allowed to eat bananas anymore (something about an allergy?) but I have a feeling that fun lovin' nanner is a-okay. He looks delish!

You are looking a little psychotic over that Nanner Man. That looks like something Grammie would being home.
Cool that you get to walk together. Grammie is thinking about getting one of those double leash things for Dawson and I. Foley doesn't care much about leaving the house. We think he is worried that someone will leave him again. Like that would ever happen. Grammie would be more inclined to take Pappy out and leave him than anyone of us.

That is great news that you guys can do walkies together now. I bet you are a sight to see walking the streets.

I wish I had a giant banana. I wish that giant banana would then turn into giant banana bread. yum.

Aaaww... Stella is really cute. You look good walking together and playing with the banana together. We always have separate leashes. How could you have the same leash?

Stanley and Stella,
I love your banana stuffie. Have you ever tried Ben and Jerry's Chunkey Monkey ice cream minus the chocolate chunks of course. It is one of my favorite treats. Every once in a while I am allowed just a spoonful or two,YUM! In response to your last comment my Mom's said that if your girl is ever in the bay area and needs a place to stay or an Airedog to cuddle we have a cozy guest room and well ME. Love,Neko

How did you know PL2 went awwwww???!!! We too are confused..because the thought of one leash with both of us makes PL2 think she is going to faint.......we would have teeth marks on the sides of heads from both of us trying to get rid of the other......Sometimes we walk very nicely side by side(Arch is always of the outside and I am inside) EXCEPT when there is a CAT or SQUIRREL then PL2 has to quick sepparate us,,well you khow what happens..Love A+A

That nanner is TOO AWESOME. I call them baneenees. I don't remember why.

My ma ape walks all three of us. But she does it early so the neighbors can't point and laugh.

That is the coolerest Nanna, dude! Your girl is awesome at finding cool toys. (Not that anything will ever surpass MINGO!) Our Mom has always got her eye out now. She mumbles-nope, that is not cool enough for The Goob....gotta keep looking...
I think she is alittle nuts, myself!
Good for the 2 of you on a walk together-that won't be happning with Scooter and myself. He'd be running, while I would be trudging along at snail speed. Some things just are not meant to be.

That Bananaman toy looks tremendous! I have nearly destroyed every stuffy in my toybox just in time for Christmas, I think I'm going to put a bananaman toy on my wish list this year.

I have just posted my entry photos for the Annual Gooberstanian Beard Growing Comp - hope it's not too late.
