LochNess Goob Swims Again

Some of you may remember the LochNess Goob from one year ago. According to the Encyclopedia Goobstonica:

The Loch Ness Goob is a gentle water creature. He usually shows himself when he is in a contemplative and pensive mood. He swims in the shadows so no one sees him, and observes those who have come to visit his pond. Here is a rare photo of the Loch Ness Goob in his natural habitat.

The following photos were taken only a few days ago as the LochNess Goob was seen rising from his fishpond in central GooberStan.

Notice how un-pensive he is. He almost looks like he could be preparing to "frolick".

Our eyewitness, on scene in GooberStan, saw the LochNess Goob emerge from the shadows...

... move into the sunlight...

... and advance toward the shore.

Where he met up with another, as yet unidentified, water creature! This is unprecedented!

If you have not seen this story on news wires, it is because Hurricanes Gustav & Hannah, as well as Tropical Storm Ike, are rightfully in the spotlight. I'm sure once the major networks hear of this amazing discovery they will abruptly clear out of the Republican Convention. (We can only hope.)

Bringing the world to you one story at a time,
Stanley

Omdog this is incredible! Clearly the lochness goob is not a threat, yet he is such a great mystery. I wonder if some cleverly placed bacon slices could lure him fully from his watery home???

I just love the LochNess Goob! Seriously, Stanley we've got to get together and go swimming. That lake looks oh so refreshing and fun!

Thank dog for you Stanny. If it weren't for you, we would have no idea what was going on in the world.
Okay, so I know I am driving you crazy. It;s actually my mom whose driving you crazy, because she's prepping and teaching like crazy.

So to cease from drive you completely mad with the wondering, I will give you a little sneak preview. My mom saw this toy that she thought you would LOVE! and so she bought it for me to send to you, but I have sort of adopted it as my favourite toy ever and now am not really sure that I can send it full of my Sophoober slime. I mean, really, this thing rocks! I can't wait to show you a picture.

Mom promises, on the weekend. This is what she gets for taking on four new preps. I am considering relocating to Gooberstan permanently.

I think they will try and keep the monster story quiet, they don't want to scare people. Its a case for Mulder and Scully.

Dude--This was WAAAAY more entertaining that than crap up in the Twin Cities (no offense to the Twin Cities who--I'm sure--would be happy to populate their many lakes with Loch Ness Goobers).

I wish the Corgador Yeti could be splashing around with the Nessy.
