Blue Goober

My brother Stanley is a wee bit blue these days.

He keeps asking when my girl is going to take him back to New York.

And he splits his time between watching out the window for dog blogging friends to drop by unexpectedly....

and nuzzling an old squeakie toy of Asta's.

I feel for the big goober. Oh, the agony of not being able to snap him out of his stupor!

Merv is as yet unmoved by Stanley's depression. He thinks Stanley will snap out of it soon. (This photo is for YOU, Sophie.)

Goobery love,
Stella

Geez Stella,
Your poor brother. Sounds like he's got the blues bad. You've got to remind him of this, at least he can go over to NYC anytime your girl gets the urge to drive over there. It's not that far really. Not like being stuck down the ar-- end of the world.......sigh.

Stella! We're so excited we're about to pee on the newly cleaned carpet. (It's summer ritual - shampooing the carpets right before a road trip. That way Mom says she can claim clean carpets two months out of the year!) Word has it we're riding through GOOBERSTAN - in the heartland of America! We're feeling like we'll be two of the luckiest dogs on the road! Tell Stanley it'll be a coupla days, but we'll see ya soon and we can hardly wait!

Poor Stanley. I wish he could come to MOntreal and take in the street fair with me. This whole weekend, my street is closed down and blocked off and for a couple of miles, there is nothing but beer drinking and painting going on. He would have a blast!

Hey, wait a minute! Although I am very concerned about stan's depression, I am a little miffed by the reference to Sophie and Merv because Soph left a message on my blog about Saffron too so what is it with Sophie and cats? OMD! Does she want to eat them?
Ike
Pee S - get better Stan! Depression doesn't suit you.
