Rant of the Diminutive Princess

I'm FINALLY getting a chance at the puter, and I'm here to vent a little to my friends about the state of confusion I've found my hairy brother Stanley & my hooman girl in since returning from my vacation. Let me tell you up front, I fully intend to whoop the confusion right out of them. Yep. That's what I'm doing.

They say they're sorry now that they sent me to Casa de Hercules for my vacation! They say that I'm spoiled and am acting like an entitled and pampered princess!! (Actually, Herc & his family called me Queen Stella.)

Does this look like the nose of a pampered little puppy girl to you?

Take a closer look. I sustained this scar in a little fight I had at the park protecting my honorary brother, Hercules, and his hooman sissy from a squirrel attack. (I may have gotten these battle scars from wrasslin' with Hercules too, I'm not exactly sure). The point is, I was ready to protect Herc & his sissy at the park, whether or not the scars came from that.

Stanley's been taunting me since I got home with all of these stories about HIS friends he got to visit and all of the Airedmiration HE got on the road. Well, I told him that it was time to clear the Aire before I had to open up my own can of whoopass on him.

As you can imagine, that made our reunion more than a little cold.

Our girl kept trying to get us to smooch and make up. When I refused, she tried to get us to play a little tug to break the tension.

You talking to us??

Sometimes all you can do is humor the hooman girl.

I saw this as a detestable labor of love for her. I wasn't going to enjoy it, though.

Come on, Goober Boy! At least try to make it look convincing.

Maybe if you moved a little bit...

Are you going to work with me or not?

That's more like it, you big, hairy goober!

Now grunt a little like you're trying.

Oh, well, please TRY to look a little more bored, would you?

C'mon! Tug like you mean it!

Aw, Stink! Let's just call it a day. The girl does not seem convinced.

Don't get me wrong. I still love my stinky brother, Stanley, but I'm pretty tired of his taunts. He told me to close my eyes and he'd give me the present he got for me on his roadtrip. Not that funny, is it?

I may just have to wipe that smile of his grimey mug!

My girl seems to finally be coming around to my way of thinking. If it wasn't for her I'd be moving back in with Hercules' family for awhile. They know how to treat a sassy princess like me right! Any suggestions?

Goobery but frustrated love,
Stella Bean Latifah

That's an impressive battle scar, mighty Stella! I would be scared of you if I met you! I loved your humouring game of tug. You really work hard for your girl, don't you.

Glad you are all reunited. I think everything will be back to normal very soon. I hope so anyway

Hmmmmm, well Stella I must say I was becoming extremely agitated as your silence was extremely worrying. I had been checking in to read your report about your stay with Hercules on a daily basis and ....zilch!

Now I find you have been in the wars and have the grumps. I do hope that your girl and Stanley come around to your way of thinking very soon.

In the meantime I will leave you with XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX to cheer you up.

Sometimes it can be hard to get the respect and treatment you deserve. I don't feel as though I get all of the proper attention and TREATS that I need, yet I haven't figured out a way to change the mind of my human. I started to lose weight thinking that would be a clear sign that I needed more treats, all that got me was a trip to the VET. So be careful!

Sometimes you just need some used to each other time again. You both have had some awesome adventures and it is hard to settle back into the regular routine. Work at it and you both will be back in the groove soon.

Ciao Zena, the Warrior Princess!

Stella Bean, la mia amica, you are one fierce pupster -- woe to the squirrel who crosses the line while you're around! Between your mano a mano approach to rodent control and Mango's heavy-artillery method, squirrels will soon be banished from dogdom!!

I'm very glad your girl and the big Goob made it home ok after all of their adventures, and that you and Merv are now reunited with your famiglia. Next time, it'll be your turn to travel!!

Tanti baci!

Keep working it Stella. That's all a diva can do is just keep working it. They will give in sooner or later.

P.S. Mom says to tell Stan and your girl that she laughed so hard at that Bret Michaels thing that no noise came out.

P.P.S. Where the hell is Merv??????

Stella, you gots battle scars? How awesome. I don't even have a battle scar.
Sharkie should get a chance to play with you. I bet you could woop his butt bigtime.
Stanley, if we ever get to meet (crossing paws hoping for some summer fun with you,Hint Hint, humans).... I will give you the recipe for making your own puppies.
I don't think I am aloud to go over there anymore. If you have a new-turd then the seeds don't sprout. I got a new-turd in December, so maybe I can go and play again over there.
I don't even know how many I sprouted, but I saw one the other day.
I have been reading all about your adventures with Asta and New York...How Awesome to travel so far.
Tell your human to get with my human and we will plan a playdate.

Yikes, Stella! You and Lacie are sounding more alike every day! Next thing you know, you'll be flaunting skimpy outfits in front of Stan and daring him to come to your defense when the hound dogs react!

You do know that crown came from Sniffany's and is redeemable for the real thing when you come to NYC, right?

Your pal,

Aw, Stella, it's hard to be the one left behind! We know you are the princess, the queen. And you deserve the attention that comes with royalty. We're hoping that we get to meet you, the very important representative of StellaStan coming up here real soon. And we promise to not give you any more battle scars.

We'll be in touch
