Luckie Me

My buddy, Luckie, from SingaPaw dropped a little something something in the mail to me! It came in record time and I couldn't wait to get my teeth into that package.

Here I am working my way into the package. I take my time and am usually pretty thorough. I wanted to savor all the lingering Luckie smells on the package. The anticipation is almost as good as the actual presents!

Here are 2 of the most important presents I received. A great organic honey & peanut butter bone cookie,

and some Doggy Man crunchy dog snacks.

My girl made me save my cookie for later, but here I am getting my first taste of these well-travelled treats. I can't believe they winged their way all that distance from SingaPaw to GooberStan, yet maintained their crunchy goodness.

Mmm. Mmm! I'm liking what I'm tasting here folks.

As if that was not enough, look what I found in the bottom of the envelope!

He's a squeaky nana (banana)! WooHoo, I do love my squeakies and my stuffies! He's almost too cute to attack.

But I overcame any reservations I had and chomped on down on his stuffie nana head!! I wanted my girl to play tug with me, but all that stuck out of my mouth was the tiny little banana butt, and she could barely get a hold on it.

Luckie Girl, you are TOO COOL, chica! Thank you for making this goober feel loved, and you are one special friend. I really liked your note too! You have great penmanship for having no thumbs! How do you do that, girl?

One happy goober boy.

Love,
Stanley

~~~~~~~~~~Quick Gertie Update~~~~~~~~~~
Gertrude McGertie Gert
A lot of doggies have asked about Gertie. Her older sissy is my buddy and dance instructor, Lady Bug, the miniature Cocker Spaniel. Her new family only lives about 4 blocks from my house, so we're going to be seeing a lot of each other.
Her original name was Ariel, but her new mama gave her the name Gertie even before we got her back to GooberStan when we first picked her up. So, Gertie it is! And no, she is not my girlfriend. She is more like a little sister to me and a good wrasslin' buddy. I do think Hercules is interested, but he has not made his intentions clear.
The vet said she is in great health and that she was a peach while being examined. So, there you are for now. I don't know if she will be starting a blog, but I will keep you posted if she doesn't.
Hey Stan,
It definately got to you in RECORD time I tell ya. I'm glad you clarified that Gertie isn't your girlie, we wouldn't want Suki or Ruby to get jealous would we?
PS : You are supposed to remove the nana's skin before eating it. Yup, go ahead with the opawration. It's the only way to eat a nana.
There's something about a banana that reminds me of Gwen Stefani...B A N A N A...I must be going crazy!
What nice presents you got from Luckie in SingaPaw.
Is it your birthday? Did I miss something?
Thank you for keeping us informed about Gertie. I am glad that she is going to live by you. You will be a good big brother to her.
Also, thanks for offering to talk to Scruffy. I'll let you know if he steps out of line. But, I'm sure he will be a gentleman.
luckie sure gives super great presents. You really need to teach tanner how to open packages. He keeps getting presents but doens't even know how to open them. It is very frustrating waiting to see what I, er I mean, HE got!
That stuffy banana is AWESOME! I have a stuffy tomato that the Shermanator gave to me. We're like a whole garden. With tomatoes and bananas.
I like the name Gertie and I'm glad she's having a good time in her new place. And, importantly, she will not be denied her precious GooberTime.
wally.
ps. Run with my sissy? Have you SEEN her legs??? She's part greyhound dude. I occasionally try to herd her but mostly I'm a laid back kinda guy. Also I am in the AARP. I have to be motivated to run by 1) food 2) the neighbor dog getting stroppy with me 3) flying stuffies
I'm glad Gertie has found her furever home. Is she pure Airedale or do I detect some other breed mixed in there?
