Elton John Ruined My Hair

It's true. Elton John ruined my hair. Last night my girl went to see him in concert, leaving me home alone for several hours with Merv. What did he want to do? He wanted us to do each other's hair. (He's a big goober cat). Here is his first attempt at a come-over on me.

His second attempt.

Third attempt.

Last attempt.

Here's Merv sizing me up for his next attempt with the simple tools of his trade.

This is his product of choice.

When he started working in the other direction I told him our styling session was over.

Thanks, Elton. I owe you, man!

Well, he is a well groomed cat so obviously knows something about styling lol

Congrats on your sister.... I love having a playmate it is really the best. Also for going with a rescue.

Well, your comb-over isn't as bad as "The Donald"'s, so don't feel too bad.

That Merv...always causing trouble, he's such a Honky Cat!

I'm surprised that with Saturday Night being Alright for Fighting that you and Merv didn't get into it with that hairdo!!! I'm sure when your girl finally came home you were thinking The ?!@ is Back, right? hee, hee, hee enough with the Elton songs.

Don't go breaking my heart Stanny, ok?

Lots of Licks, Ruby

P(ee)S: Lisa, my Mom wants to know if you enjoyed the concert???

Stanny, You are one styling Goob! I love the comb over. At least he didn't pull out the scissors or hot wax

I am so excited about your new sister! You are going to be such a great big brother.
Merv has some serious hair styling skills... I really like the picture of him and his styling products.
Hope your girl had fun at the concert!

Does Merv have a voice? Perhaps we should hear his side of the story. Mumsie is rolling at Ruby's comments. Frankly, we have no idea what's so funny.
Lacie has been very very grumpy today. Mumsie might have forgotten to give her her last dose of pain medicine last night. Hmm...for as many times as she's snarled at me today, I might need to take it myself. I like sniffing her stitches.

I love a dog who understand cats. You will look great in pink.

If I had hair, I'd let Merv create an updo for my wedding. Alas, Ikes and I are nearly bald, being Boston Terrierists and all. Love, Martha

Oh Stanley,

it's a good thing that he had was a comb and not a pair of scissors. Just think of the damage he could have done them. It's not very pleasant. Ouch.

Koobuss Kisses,

You are lucky to have a cat who can style, but I think you looked better au natural.
You should be dancing around the room to Elton John right now. Maybe you could change the words to Goober Rock.

Kirby said...

Oh Stan,

Not sure if Merv would make it as a professional stylist, but he gets points for trying. Or perhaps its his model that makes everything look good. He he.
